With great community spirit the best of the Barossa was lined up for the annual 2016 Barossa Wine Show with Sons of Eden honoured to be awarded 2 Gold, 1 Silver and 5 Bronze medals. A very solid effort and reinforcement that their wines are consistently hitting the mark.
The 2014 Shiraz class attracted over 120 entries with 6 Gold medals being awarded. Pleasingly Romulus 2014 old vine Shiraz was one of the recipients.
The other Gold medal was for a Sagrantino 2015 that only last week received a Gold medal at the Winewise Small Winemakers Show. Not yet released but a cracking wine that has its origins in Umbria, Italy, but was grown in Eden Valley and crafted with thought and care at Sons on Eden. More to follow ....... stay tuned.
