Originating from Umbria in Central Italy, this gorgeous rendition of sagrantino from the Eden Valley shows lifted aromas of blackcurrant, smoked game, warm spice and thyme on the nose, leading to a juicy palate that is plump and vibrant. It is brooding and engaging, and elegant and plush at the same time, superbly structured by fine, mouth-coating tannins.
